Judges 9:42-44

⁴² The men went out to the field the next day and told Abimelech. ⁴³ So he took his men and divided them into three groups, and they waited in the field. When he saw Gaal’s people coming out of the city, Abimelech went against them and killed them. ⁴⁴ Abimelech and the group with him rushed and stood in the city gate. The other two groups then rushed against all who were in the field and killed them.
